I
found that once you got passed all of the interviews, trailers, movie review,
etc, there were a lot of parodies on our lovely Channing Tatum. They
tended to be funny and sometimes offensive, but, still, they all seemed to draw
attention to his looks.
What
was funny about this research, was what I found in thinking about what effect
these videos have had on the culture of the topic. Though the videos were
offensive, and funny, and mocking, they did not seem to twist the image that Channing
portrays. They maintained his sexy expected sexy
image and promoted further obsession. I was entertained to find all that
these videos had to offer. It’s almost like his fans know that his image is
kind of an idealistic joke, and that’s WHY they love him.
HAHAHAHAHA! I watched the video in the little small box size that the blog puts it in... and before I saw that it was ACTUALLY Channing Tatum, I thought to myself, "Dang. That actor sounds exactly like Channing Tatum."

He does sound like the real Channing Tatum, kind of looks like him too. One question though, how do you balance on shit? Would be pretty hard. Stephanie, his image is kind of like an idealistic joke, he seems to always have his shirt off etc. That is somewhat his brand you might say. Kind of interesting how brands are formed for people, like Arnold with "I'll be back!" or Clint Eastwood with "Go ahead, make my day!" actors always seem to have somthing they are known for.

It's true. even in videos that seem to "mock" him- it is his brand, and because he's in on the joke much of the time- it's FOR him, and not against him.
